went home

Shawn, Ed, and Jay all had to start heading back home today - so Jay drove back to Austin while Shawn and Ed drove me back to Norman. As we got back into OKC we saw the tornadic storms begin going up far to our east. Shawn did not want to chase these storms since they are not in good chase territory. So after him and Ed dropped me off in Norman, they continued on their way back to New York. I decided to let these storms go as well, since by the time I got home at 4pm they were already 60 miles east of Norman and moving east at 35 mph. I figured there was no way I would catch up with them so I spent the evening at home getting some much needed rest. Jay reports that he caught some interesting weather as he got back home in Austin as a textbook supercell developed very close to his house.

That concludes the summary for this trip. Swaggerty thanks y'all for coming along....
