2003 would mark our group's eighth annual chase vacation in the Plains states. The first day of the trip was tenatively scheduled for the 16th, when Shawn from New York and Ed from Massachusetts planned on arriving on the Plains. There they would meet up with Jay from Texas and Jeff from Oklahoma. On the 17th, they planned on meeting up with Mike "Swaggerty" from Nebraska, who would be taking his first chase trip with the group in 5 years. The group would also be joined for the first time by Stacey, a first year OU student originally from Indiana. Shawn and Ed had originally planned to chase with the group until the 22nd, with Mike "Swaggerty", Jay, Jeff, and Stacey planning on staying out as late as the 25th.
Limited finances, health issues, and an especially uncooperative weather pattern would lead us to drastically alter our plans however......
