The big storms were expected to form well off to the east today, so it was time to head home. I had planned beforehand to visit my cousin in Arvada CO (northwest of Denver) on the way back, so this is where I was headed today. Wasn't expecting to see anything exciting weatherwise today, but then....

Thunderstorms began to fire southeast of Denver! This Cb was just beginning to spit out some cloud-to-ground bolts as this video was shot.
